Presentano alcune somiglianze e differenze in termini di velocit\u00e0, larghezza di banda, copertura, consumo energetico e complessit\u00e0. Ecco un breve riepilogo delle principali differenze:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">LTE-M contro NB-IoT<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Velocit\u00e0<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>LTE-M \u00e8 pi\u00f9 veloce di NB-IoT, offrendo fino a 1 Mbps di velocit\u00e0 dati sia in downlink che in uplink per le reti 4G e fino a 4 Mbps per le reti 5G. D&#039;altro canto, NB-IoT pu\u00f2 raggiungere solo fino a 26 kbps in downlink e uplink per le reti 4G e fino a 127 kbps per le reti 5G.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Larghezza di banda<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>LTE-M utilizza una larghezza di banda di 1,4 MHz, equivalente a un tipico blocco di risorse LTE. NB-IoT utilizza una larghezza di banda pi\u00f9 stretta, pari a 200 kHz, equivalente a un blocco di risorse fisiche all&#039;interno di un tipico blocco di risorse LTE. Ci\u00f2 significa che NB-IoT pu\u00f2 gestire pi\u00f9 dispositivi nello stesso spettro, ma ha una capacit\u00e0 e una velocit\u00e0 di trasmissione dati inferiori.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Copertura<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Entrambi <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/LTE-M\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">LTE-M<\/a> E <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Narrowband_IoT\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">NB-IoT<\/a> hanno una copertura migliore rispetto ai dispositivi LTE standard, soprattutto in ambienti interni e aree rurali. Possono utilizzare tecniche come la ripetizione e l&#039;adattamento del collegamento per migliorare la qualit\u00e0 e l&#039;affidabilit\u00e0 del segnale. Supportano anche la modalit\u00e0 di miglioramento della copertura (CEM), che consente loro di trasmettere a livelli di potenza pi\u00f9 elevati e ricevere a livelli di segnale inferiori. Tuttavia, alcune fonti affermano che NB-IoT ha un leggero vantaggio rispetto a LTE-M in termini di perdita di accoppiamento massima (MCL), che misura la perdita massima nel livello di potenza condotta che un sistema pu\u00f2 tollerare e rimanere operativo. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.lansitec.com\/pt\/blogs\/rastreamento-via-satelite-iot-em-2026-guia-essencial-para-ntn-para-pecuaria-e-ativos-remotos\/\">3GPP<\/a> Secondo gli standard, il limite massimo di copertura (MCL) per NB-IoT \u00e8 di 164 dB, mentre per LTE-M \u00e8 di 160,7 dB per le reti 4G e di 164 dB per le reti 5G. Tuttavia, altre fonti sostengono che questa differenza non sia significativa e che LTE-M possa raggiungere una copertura uguale o migliore rispetto a NB-IoT con una configurazione
