A Tracker receives signals from nearby Faróis and forwards their major, minor, and RSSI values to the server. If no Beacon signals are received, it will activate GNSS to obtain the coordinates and then report them to the server.
A Beacon, on the other hand, continuously broadcasts iBeacon protocol messages at a fixed interval (ranging from 0.1s to 10s) and at a defined TX power. Both the broadcasting interval and TX power are adjustable.
