Bluetooth Technology Introduction

Bluetooth Low Energy. It is a low-powerconsumption Bluetooth technology.

A protocol developed by Apple and introduced in 2012 to comply with the Beacon technology protocol.

A precise positioning technology based on the Bluetooth 4.0 protocol or a later protocol version.

A cross-platform open-source Beacon format Bluetooth protocol launched by Google in 2015.
The Bluetooth we often talk about in our daily life actually refers to BLE (Bluetooth low energy technology). As the name suggests, the current Bluetooth technology consumes very low power. Unlike the rumours saying that Bluetooth needs to be turned off to save power when not used, Bluetooth or the power consumption of turning on Bluetooth on the mobile phone for a long time is negligible. In IoT devices, beacons transmit at a fixed interval, and the power consumption is low. Compared with transmitting, in IoT application, Bluetooth receiving consumes more power.
